2010 MSC-MSTS-ATS Reunion
The
Annual Reunion for current and former employees of Military
Sealift
Command, Pacific, Military Sea Transport Service and Army Transport
Service will be held on
Saturday October 16, 2010
at San Leandro Yacht Club,
San Leandro, CA
from 1100 to 1500 hours.
This
event brings together shipmates, retiree’s, current and former
employees from all over the US, and World. Past reunions have
had 80
to 100+ attendee’s, which included those with service in the 1940’s to
active CIVMAR’s and Employees.
The
reunions bring together many wonderful people with “Sea Stories”
flowing for several hours and provide a conduit for renewal of
friendships.
All
former, current employees, and friends of MSC are invited.
Reservations are not required.
Bring a dish to share and/or contribute to the jar for hamburgers, hot
dogs, hot
links that will be put on the barbeque.
We
will eat between 1200 and 1330 allowing time for
Group Picture and Sea Stories and clean up
before a Yacht Club dinner that evening. .
Beverages will be available for purchase at the Yacht Club.
The Marina Inn Hotel, a Golf Course and several restaurants are located
at the Marina.
From Freeway 880 between Oakland and Fremont, take Marina Blvd West, continue West on Marina Blvd and when you arrive at the Marina, make a right turn at the first stop sign, and take the first left into the parking lot by the one story grey building which is San Leandro Yacht Club.
Horatio's restaurant is right to your left facing the water.
